Matthew J. Aernecke is a staff member in the Chemical, Biological and Nanoscale Technologies group at MIT Lincoln Laboratory. He received his Ph.D. in chemistry from Tufts University. His research interests include vapor-sensitive microsensor arrays, portable-device development and the application of new analytical technologies to the detection of explosives.
