Margaret A. Boden is Research Professor of Cognitive Science at the University of Sussex, and a Fellow of the British Academy and of the American Association for Artificial Intelligence. Her latest books are The Creative Mind: Myths and Mechanisms, 2nd ed., expanded (Routledge, 2004) and Mind as Machine: A History of Cognitive Science, 2 vols.(Oxford University Press, 2006).
