Alexander Mugar Klein is a Canada Research Chair and a professor of philosophy at McMaster University in Ontario, where he also directs the Bertrand Russell Research Centre. His work weaves together philosophy, history, and cognitive science. Klein’s 2025 book about William James, Consciousness Is Motor, was published by Oxford University Press.
