Shlomo Engelson Argamon

Shlomo Engelson Argamon is a professor of computer science and the founding director of the interdisciplinary Master of Data Science program at Illinois Institute of Technology. His research is at the intersection of machine learning and computational linguistics, exploring applications in intelligence analysis, forensic linguistics, biomedical informatics, and humanities scholarship. He holds a Ph.D. in computer science from Yale University, has received fellowships from the Fannie and John Hertz Foundation and the Fulbright Foundation, and is a Fellow of the British Computer Society.
