
Steven Krantz
Steven G. Krantz is a professor of mathematics at Washington University in St. Louis. He received his Ph.D. from Princeton University in 1974 and has served on the faculties of the University of California, Los Angeles, Princeton University and Pennsylvania State University. Founder of the Journal of Geometric Analysis and winner of the Chauvenet and Beckenbach prizes from the Mathematics Association of America, he is a member of several editorial boards, lectures widely and is the author or editor of 27 books on geometric analysis, general mathematics and issues in mathematical writing and education.
