Mark Walker is John Bigelow Professor of History at Union College in Schenectady, New York. He is the author of Science and Ideology: A Comparative History (Routledge, 2003), Nazi Science: Myth, Truth, and the German Atomic Bomb (Perseus, 1995) and German National Socialism and the Quest for Nuclear Power, 1939-49 (Cambridge University Press, 1989).
