Samantha Muka is an associate professor and the director of the Science, Technology, and Society program at the Stevens Institute of Technology. She is the author of Oceans under Glass (2022) and is currently working on a book that examines the history of American coastal engineering and waste management policies in the latter half of the 20th century.
