Over the past two decades, Kurt D. Bollacker has romped through the fields of artificial intelligence, digital libraries, linguistics, databases and electrocardiology. He currently is the digital research director of the Long Now Foundation and gets his hands dirty as a freelance data miner and builder of collaborative knowledge-creation tools.
