Jupiter (Cheng) Hansen is a planetary scientist and structural geologist who investigates tectonic processes and surface deformation on Earth and other planetary bodies. She serves as a postdoctoral researcher in geological sciences at the University of Alabama, where she studies impact cratering, fracture mechanics, and their interactions from Mercury to Pluto, including Earth.
