José Rubén Morones-Ramírez is a professor of chemical engineering and the founder of the NanoBiotechnology Research Group at Universidad Autónoma de Nuevo León in Mexico, where his research combines nanotechnology, microbiology, and synthetic biology to develop new antimicrobial and bio-based materials.
