John Eric Goff is Professor of Engineering Practice at Purdue University in Indianapolis, with a joint appointment in the Weldon School of Biomedical Engineering and the School of Mechanical Engineering.  He works at the intersection of applied mechanics, aerodynamics, computational modeling, and sports engineering.  He is internationally recognized for his research on soccer-ball aerodynamics and modeling of professional cycling, including the Tour de France.
