Jean Pedersen is a professor in the Department of Mathematics and Computer Science@Santa Clara University in Santa Clara, California. Her research interests include polyhedral geometry, symmetry, number theory and combinatorics. Her recent publications include Mathematical Vistas—From a Room with Many Windows, Springer-Verlag (2002) and Mathematical Reflections—In a Room with Many Mirrors, Springer-Verlag (corrected second printing, 1998); Derek Holton and Peter Hilton were her coauthors on both books.
