Dylan Fischer
Dylan Fischer is a forest ecologist and professor at The Evergreen State College in Olympia, WA. He has been teaching interdisciplinary science programs on trees, tree ecology, and forest biogeochemistry at Evergreen since 2005. His research on trees has focused on water use in evergreen conifers, connections between tree genetics and forest ecology in cottonwood trees of the West, forest recovery following volcanic eruptions in the United States and Chile, and carbon cycling in the forests of the Pacific Northwest.
