Dr. Brian Abraham is a post-doctoral associate researcher at the Whitehead Institute for Biomedical Research. He earned a PhD in Bioinformatics from Boston University, and his research focuses on the molecular mechanisms governing cell identity both in healthy cells and in disease. In his spare time, he writes as The Snarky Scientist (@SnarkyScientist) to translate science for non-scientists and clarify the questionable science that sneaks into popular consciousness.
