Bernard Wood is a professor of human origins at George Washington University. A medically trained paleoanthropologist, he is the author of 19 books, including Human Evolution: A Very Short Introduction (Oxford University Press, 2019). His research focuses on hominin systematics and phylogeny reconstruction.
