
Lydia Greene
Lydia Greene is a graduate student in the Ecology Program at Duke University. Her dissertation research is focused on the relationship between health, nutrition, and gut microbiomes in a group of critically endangered lemurs, the indriids. Greene also did her undergraduate degree at Duke University, graduating summa cum laude with a B.S. in evolutionary anthropology and a minor in German. Between undergraduate and graduate school, Greene worked as an Associate in Research at Duke, studying meerkat reproductive endocrinology in South Africa’s Kalahari Desert. In her free time, Greene volunteers as an educational docent at the Duke Lemur Center, leading tours for the general public and performing research demonstrations for school groups.
