Ram Sasisekharan is a professor of biological engineering at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He received his Ph.D. in 1992 from Harvard Medical School. The Sasisekharan group's research objectives include understanding how the extracellular matrix regulates cell function, developing tools to study complex carbohydrates and developing drugs to treat related diseases.
