
Barry Ganetzky
Barry Ganetzky is the Steenbock Professor in Biological Sciences in the Laboratory of Genetics at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. He received his Ph.D. at the University of Washington in Seattle in 1976 and was a postdoctoral fellow at the California Institute of Technology until 1979, when he accepted his current position. Although his research focuses primarily on molecular and genetic studies of neuronal signaling in Drosophila, he continues to study the segregation distortion system, in which he has had a long-standing interest.
