Framing Political Messages with Grammar and Metaphor

These messages influence people’s impressions of political candidates and whether they are worthy of office. Studying the more implicit linguistic details of these messages, especially grammar and metaphor, is useful to gaining a better understanding of how language influences election outcomes.
