I can recall hearing Prof. Nass on NPR recently. At the time, I wanted to ask the question, does playing a musical instrument and simultaneously singing a lyric constitute multitasking? I have some skill on the guitar and piano but not as a sight-reader. I have always found it very difficult to play a complex accompaniment and sing at the same time. Do these tasks involve different sides of the brain?
