Wolfgang Berger

Biography

Wolfgang H. Berger is a professor of oceanography in the Geosciences Research Division of Scripps Institution of Oceanography, University of California, San Diego. As a paleoceanographer, he reconstructs ocean and climate history by studying deep-sea sediments, coastal-ocean anaerobic deposits, corals and tree rings.
