Biography

William Eberhard is professor of biology at the University of Costa Rica and a staff scientist at the Smithsonian Tropical Research Insitute (STRI) in Panama. He received a Ph.D. in biology from Harvard University and has studied the biology of tropical arthropods for more than 40 years.
