Val FitchBiography
Val L. Fitch is James S. McDonnell Distinguished University Professor
of Physics, Emeritus, at Princeton University. As a young soldier in
the U.S. Army in World War II, he was sent to Los Alamos, New
Mexico, to work on the Manhattan Project. He received the Nobel
Prize in Physics in 1980. Recently he has been pursuing the question
of the existence of the H (hexaquark) particle.
