Uta Matthes

Biography

Uta Matthes received her Ph.D. in botany from Arizona State University in 1985 and then began postdoctoral work at the University of Guelph, where she is now a research associate. Her experience in other marginal environments includes the study of lichen inhabiting the grasslands of central California.
