Biography

Susan Solomon is a research scientist at the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA). She has been at NOAA since earning her Ph.D. in chemistry from the University of California, Berkeley, in 1981. She has focused her primary research in the fields of ozone depletion and climate change, but she is fascinated by historical meteorology.
