Biography

Steven Vogel, emeritus faculty member in biology at Duke University, is the author of several books, including (W. W. Norton, 1998), Glimpses of Creatures in Their Physical Worlds (Princeton University Press, 2009), Comparative Biomechanics (Princeton University Press, 2003), and Prime Mover: A Natural History of Muscle (W. W. Norton, 2002).
