Biography

Silvan S. Schweber is professor of physics and Richard Koret Professor in the History of Ideas, emeritus, at Brandeis University. He is the author of a number of books, including Einstein and Oppenheimer: The Meaning of Genius (Harvard University Press, 2008) and In the Shadow of the Bomb: Bethe, Oppenheimer, and the Moral Responsibility of the Scientist (Princeton University Press, 2000).
