Rosemary GillespieBiography
Rosemary G. Gillespie is a professor of insect biology at the
University of California, Berkeley. She holds the Schlinger Chair of
Systematics and is director of the Essig Museum of Entomology. Her
research focuses on evolution of the spider genus
Tetragnatha in remote islands of Polynesia and on evolution
of the Hawaiian happy face spider Theridion grallator.
