Biography

Ronald K. Chesser is a professor of biological sciences and director of the Center for Environmental Radiation Studies at Texas Tech University. Much of his current research is in reverse-engineering radioactive releases from nuclear accidents. He continues to work at Chernobyl and is currently examining radioactive contamination and human health issues surrounding nuclear facilities near Baghdad, Iraq.
