Biography

Richard J. Wassersug received his Ph.D. in evolutionary biology from the University of Chicago in 1973 and is now professor of anatomy and neurobiology at Dalhousie University in Canada. This year he is on sabbatical and is dividing his time between the Center for Advanced Studies in the Space Life Sciences at the Marine Biological Laboratory in Woods Hole, Massachusetts, where he is a visiting scholar, and the Discovery Channel in Canada, where he is scientist in residence.
