Biography

Richard J. Twitchett is a senior lecturer in geology in the School of Earth, Ocean and Environmental Sciences at the University of Plymouth in the United Kingdom. His research interests include the Permian-Triassic extinction and recovery, the Lilliput effect, modern and ancient defaunation events, trace fossils and mass-extinction events, and taphonomy and preservation of fossil organisms.
