Richard SeagerBiography
Richard Seager is a senior research scientist at Columbia
University's Lamont-Doherty Earth Observatory. After obtaining his
Ph.D. from Columbia in 1990, Seager held postdoctoral positions at
Lamont-Doherty and at the University of Washington in Seattle. His
current research interests include the causes of extratropical
drought, the climate of the last millennium and the experimental
prediction of decadal variability in climate. Address:
