Biography

Richard T. Kouzes currently works on disarmament, nonproliferation and homeland security at the Department of Energy's Pacific Northwest National Laboratory. He is also an adjunct professor at Washington State University. In 1974 Kouzes earned a doctorate in physics from Princeton University, where he taught and did research in nuclear physics for 15 years. He worked at the PNNL from 1991 to 1995, then moved to West Virginia University, where he served on the physics faculty and as an administrator before returning to the Laboratory in 2000.
