Biography

Richard W. Allmendinger is a professor in the Department of Earth and Atmospheric Sciences at Cornell University and has carried out field geology in South America since 1981. His general research interests include structural geology and tectonics, numerical models of fault-related folds, interpretation of seismic reflection profiles and analysis of fault populations.
