Biography

Reuben Hersh is professor emeritus of mathematics and statistics at the University of New Mexico in Albuquerque. He is the author of What is Mathematics, Really? (1997) and is coauthor (with Philip J. Davis) of Descartes' Dream: The World According to Mathematics (1986) and The Mathematical Experience (1981), which won a National Book Award.
