Ralf DahmBiography
Ralf Dahm is director of scientific management at the Spanish National Cancer Research Centre (CNIO) in Madrid and honorary professor at the University of Padua, Italy. Since visiting Tübingen’s medieval castle where DNA was discovered, he has been fascinated by the history of the life sciences. He has published on early DNA research, Darwin’s theory of evolution and the discovery of Alzheimer’s disease. Dahm received his Ph.D. from the Department of Biochemistry at the University of Dundee. He was a postdoctoral scientist at the Max Planck Institute for Developmental Biology in Tübingen and a group leader at the Medical University of Vienna.
