Biography

Prabhakar Raghavan is vice president and chief technology officer at Verity, Inc., in Sunnyvale, California, and a consulting professor of computer science at Stanford University. His research interests include algorithms and data mining. He serves as Editor in Chief of the Journal of the ACM (Association for Computing Machinery) and is a Fellow of the ACM and of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE).
