Pnina Abir-AmBiography
Pnina Geraldine Abir-Am has published widely in the history of
molecular biology, the history of women and gender in science,
"history and memory," and science policy. Her work has
been recognized by an award for outstanding research from the
History of Science Society. She has taught at the University of
California at Berkeley, the University of Ottawa, the Hebrew
University of Jerusalem and Johns Hopkins University. She is
currently completing a monograph, DNA at 50: History, Memory,
and Moral Genealogy. Another related publication is
"DNA at 50: Institutional and Biographical Perspectives,"
