Biography

Pierre Laszlo is emeritus professor of chemistry at École polytechnique in Palaiseau, France, and at the University of Liège in Belgium. He is coauthor, with Peter J. Stang, of Organic Spectroscopy: Principles and Applications (Harper and Row, 1971) and  taught a course on instrumental analysis at Cornell jointly with Fred W. McLafferty. His current interests combine the history of chemistry and science writing.
