Biography

Peter L. Galison is Pellegrino University Professor of the History of Science and of Physics at Harvard University. He is the author of several books, including Einstein's Clocks, Poincaré's Maps (W. W. Norton, 2003), and has just finished (with Lorraine Daston) Objectivity, a history of scientific objectivity that will be published by Zone Books in 2007.
