Biography

Monique Borgerhoff Mulder is a professor of anthropology at the University of California, Davis. Her interests include evolutionary analysis of human demographic and family patterns, the study of cultural phylogenies and research integrating conservation and development. She also coordinates environmental and medical development initiatives in Tanzania.
