Marc Frischer

Biography

Marc E. Frischer is an associate professor at the Skidaway Institute of Oceanography. He received a Ph.D. in marine sciences from the University of South Florida in 1994. His current research focuses on the role of microbial diversity in marine environments and the development of molecular-based diagnostics. He has been studying Hematodinium in blue crab since 1998.
