Louis D. Friedman

Biography

Louis D. Friedman is executive director of the Planetary Society, a not-for-profit organization dedicated to fostering the exploration of other worlds. Friedman, along with Bruce Murray and Carl Sagan, founded the Planetary Society in 1980. G. Scott Hubbard formerly served as director of NASA’s Ames Research Center. He is now a consulting professor in the Department of Aeronautics and Astronautics at Stanford University.
