Biography

Jed Z. Buchwald is Doris and Henry Dreyfuss Professor of History at California Institute of Technology. He is the author of The Creation of Scientific Effects: Heinrich Hertz and Electrical Waves (1994) and The Rise of the Wave Theory of Light (1989).
