Biography

Jean Pedersen is a professor in the Department of Mathematics and Computer Science at Santa Clara University in Santa Clara, California. Her research interests include polyhedral geometry, symmetry, number theory and combinatorics. Her recent publications include Mathematical Vistas—From a Room with Many Windows, Springer-Verlag (2002) and Mathematical Reflections—In a Room with Many Mirrors, Springer-Verlag (corrected second printing, 1998); Derek Holton and Peter Hilton were her coauthors on both books.
