Irving BiedermanBiography
Irving Biederman is the Harold W. Dornsife Professor of Neuroscience
in the Departments of Psychology and Computer Science and the
director of the Image Understanding Laboratory at the University of
Southern California. His current research interests span the domain
of visual cognition, with emphasis on the representation of shape
for object, face and scene recognition. Address: Departments of
