Biography

Harold A. Mooney is Paul S. Achilles Professor of Environmental Biology and a senior fellow by courtesy at Freeman Spogli Institute for International Studies at Stanford University. He is the author of The Globalization of Ecological Thought (Ecology Institute, 1998) and is the editor or coeditor of 25 books, including Invasive Alien Species: A New Synthesis (Island Press, 2005).
