Biography

Gregory H. Moore, professor of mathematics at McMaster University in Canada, is a historian of mathematical logic and author of Zermelo's Axiom of Choice (1982). He was an editor of the first two volumes of Gödel's Collected Works (1986, 1990). Moore then edited volume 3 of Bertrand Russell's Collected Papers (1993) and is at present completing volume 5: Toward "Principia Mathematica." He is former vice president of the Canadian Society for History and Philosophy of Mathematics.
