Gene Robinson

Biography

Gene E. Robinson is professor in the Department of Entomology and the Neuroscience Program at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. He earned his B.S. in 1977 at Cornell University, worked in the bee industry until 1980, and then earned his M.S. and Ph.D. at Cornell in 1982 and 1986, respectively. His research employs honey bees for interdisciplinary studies of mechanisms of social behavior. Address: Department of Entomology, University of Illinois, Urbana, IL 61801.
