Gabrielle Nevitt is assistant professor of neurobiology, physiology and behavior at the University of California, Davis. She received her Ph.D. in zoology at the University of Washington and went on to do postdoctoral work at Cornell University and the University of Oregon. In addition to pursuing interests in seabird foraging and conservation, she has studied mechanisms of olfactory imprinting and homing in Pacific salmon.
